Al Zareen International Trade Co. (ZITCO) is pleased to announce the launch of a new strategic collaboration with Pertamina, the national oil company of Indonesia, aimed at establishing a secure and efficient supply route for crude oil and gas oil via the United Arab Emirates.
As part of this initiative, a delegation of Pertamina representatives conducted site visits in May 2025 to key storage and terminal facilities in Fujairah Port and the Hamriyah Free Zone. These visits were followed by a series of technical and commercial coordination meetings between both parties.
The discussions focused on operational capacities, compliance with international storage standards, and delivery scheduling mechanisms. The result of these engagements was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), solidifying the intent to commence operations in a phased manner starting from November 2025.
This agreement marks a significant step in strengthening energy trade between the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Through the advanced infrastructure and logistical capabilities of ZITCO in the UAE, both companies are set to benefit from enhanced supply reliability and strategic market access.
ZITCO remains committed to playing a key role in enabling efficient, transparent, and secure energy flows across regions.
